Modern Mechanical Launches Month-Long Food Drive
Local Firm Partnering With Loudoun Interfaith Relief To Collect Food, Hygiene and Pet Food
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Ashburn, Va. (March 1, 2016) – Beginning March 1 and continuing throughout the month, Ashburn-based home services company Modern Mechanical is encouraging its customers, neighbors and friends to contribute generously to its food drive, conducted in partnership with Loudoun Interfaith Relief. Donations of non-perishable food, hygiene items, toiletries, and pet food will be accepted all month at Modern Mechanical’s Ashburn location – 21730 Red Rum Drive, Suite 182. Modern Mechanical will also invite their current customers to donate and their technicians will pick up donations at every service call during the month.
“It’s easy to forget, living where we do, that there are still kids going to school hungry,” said Shawn Mitchell, founder and CEO of Modern Mechanical. “If we can help make a difference in their lives, then we feel everyone benefits.”
As an additional incentive, every donation – regardless of size – grants the donor a complimentary coupon worth up to $1,700 in rebates from Lennox Home Comfort Systems, plus a $25 reduction in the diagnostic fee on their next service call by Modern Mechanical.
“This collection drive is especially unique for us because Modern Mechanical is taking the time and resources to schedule pickups at their customers homes and then collecting and sorting the items for us before delivery,” said Jennifer Montgomery, Executive Director of Loudoun Interfaith Relief. “We are proud to be the recipient of their efforts.”
